aims and objectives

The association is founded under the name of "european union of research organisations for the plastic industry" in short, eu-roplas.

It is composed of research organisations, universities, laboratories and other technical professional bodies from the eu. Its´ aim is to promote research and technical assistance for the plastic industry.

objectives of eu-roplas

• to help the circulation of information amongst members, to co-ordinate the activities of the various documentation teams by the constitution of common data bases (general information on companies, legal data, normalisation, technologies,...)
• to co-ordinate research programs
• to facilitate the preperation and accomplishment of international projects likely to be supported by eu funds
• to co-operate in the developement of methods and guidelines for the testing of materials, components and finish articles produced by the plastic industry
• to initiate and develop any technical action likely to support effectively the european plastic industry, mainly SMEs

In no case, should decisions taken by eu-roplas interfere with the rights and duties of members from different countries, nor counteract the engagements contracted with national organisations.
